The plant is known by several other common names such as seedless. Tahiti is a type of citrus fruit of hybrid origin known in agriculture. It is a triple intersection between (citrus origin × orantifolia × lemon).
Although there are other citrus varieties referred to as “limes”, Tahiti is the most widely grown commercially grown lumi species, representing the largest share of fruit sold as a lemon. It is very rare to turn the fruit to yellow, but it was spotted in CoSa Garden Center and turned the color of the fruit on one side in yellow, but they are often sold while still green.
